About Bridget
Bridget is a Data Scientist working jointly on the Airborne Observation Platform (AOP) and Data Skills Teams. In her role on AOP, she helps develop and improve the processing pipelines for generating remote sensing data products, assists with calibration and validation efforts, and leads AOP field campaigns. On the Data Skills team, Bridget develops workshops and tutorials in Python, R and Google Earth Engine to help external scientists and educators work with NEON data.
Bridget's background is in Earth Science. She has a Master's Degree in Marine Geophysics where her thesis focused on subduction zone earthquakes. As part of her graduate degree she worked on research ships as a geophysical technician in various roles, operating geophysical equipment to map the ocean floor.
